T8 low power electronic ballasts operate T8 lamps at a lower light level and therefore consume fewer power. These come in a multivolt of 120 277 volt. These operate T8 lamps whether they be F17T8, F25T8, F32T8, all at a lower power. The light output is 25% lower but has an input watt rating of only 98 watts on a 4 lamp ballast. The energy savings with T8 lamps make them the perfect system to retrofit existing F40T12 lighting by simply replacing the lamps and the ballast.
