Some general information.
At, we want to provide you with the highest quality T8 fluorescent lamps. Because they operate on an electronic ballast, they have a very high frequency which doesn’t flicker. All you see is an instant-on capability making it perfect for a general-purpose light in a commercial and residential application. For those of you who are concerned with mercury content in linear T8 fluorescent light bulbs, know that they have lower mercury used in the tube itself. And if you dispose of it in an environmentally safe way, it will never be an issue. Just make sure that you don’t throw it away in the regular garbage, that way we can all help our environment.

Good lighting is the goal.
They all have excellent lumen output and will operate on any manufacturer’s electronic ballast whether it’s an instant start or a rapid start type. The color temperatures that you can get our everything from a 2700K warm white, a 3000K soft white, 4100K cool white and probably the most popular which is the 5000K daylight white version. The reason most people like that one the best is because it creates light the way our eyes naturally use it. We can read better under this type of light, and we have a better contrast between black and white making it perfect for an office lighting situation. But it’s not only made for offices, but these can also be used anywhere you need a four-foot T8 tube. If you have these in a manufacturing facility or a warehouse, you know how effective this can be to getting the right kind of light for people so they can be more productive in their work. Good lighting does make a difference as to how productive people can be at their job. This type of research has been done for many years and maintaining a good lighting system by replacing the light bulbs at regular intervals is a good idea.

Saving money on energy feels good.
The F32T8 is still a good choice for energy efficiency even though many people are opting for some of the LED bulbs. If you’re not in a position to take advantage of some of the energy retrofitting or new light fixtures, these replacement bulbs will work just fine for your situation and provide the light and efficiency that is satisfactory. LED T8 lamps are replacing some of these when people decide to do a retrofit which requires a little bit of rewiring of a light fixture. For those of you who are unsure as to how to rewire it, we do sell prewired socket retrofits that you could put in a fixture and replace the existing wiring. But for those of you who are going to stay with an F32T8 bulb, we have reasonable pricing and can work with you on larger quantities if you need a lot of them. All you have to do is give us a call, and we can get you multiple case quantity pricing and can get them shipped to you with free shipping in some cases. If you’re unsure of which one you have, we can help you identify it. Sometimes the printing on the side of the bulb becomes worn out, or maybe you find it to be somewhat hard to understand. If that’s the case you can send us a picture by email or text, or you can call us, and we can help walk you through it. We’ve probably seen every type and variation of F32T8, and we can probably steer you in the right direction getting the product you need for your replacement needs. If you’re looking to make a lighting upgrade, we can help you with that too with all the different tools that we have to help you understand what a payback you might have been going to something more energy-efficient. On the left-hand column of our website, you’ll see a free downloadable spreadsheet which can help you discover how much energy you can save by going to something like LED lamps/bulbs.

Slight variations on brands.
There are several different brands that most people associate with this type of light, Philips linear fluorescent, GE Lighting, Osram Sylvania as well as many other quality brands. They all function the same way and electrically are the same so that you can use them interchangeably. The only thing that might vary slightly is the phosphor color on occasion. For example, a cool white 4100K in one brand will look the same in another for general lighting purposes. But for some people that have particular needs that 4100K from one brand to another may be slightly different and affect their choice. Most of the time these are all made to the same specifications, so the color temperatures are suitable regardless of the brand you choose.
