So it gives you all the advantages of the older magnetic type being able to run varying lamps, but it gives you more energy efficiency and reliability in the long run.

If you’re repairing a sign that you have with these ballasts, you should also know that there are LED replacement possibilities whether it’s lamps that can be reconfigured inside the sign eliminating the ballast or using something like an LED ribbon light that’s going to back like the sign correctly. It’s not only going to save you a lot of energy but a lot of hassle. You won’t have to go back to the sign again and again for different kinds of maintenance. Although signs do require maintenance on a regular basis, this should reduce some of that which means you will also reduce cost as well. There are many ways to accomplish this with LED, and no one way is right for every situation. There are so many different kinds of signs that you need to take a look at what you have and get the best possible LED scenario for that situation. There is no cookie-cutter type of application; signs are just too different.
