Fiberoptic MR11 Halogen Light Bulbs
MR11 light bulbs are a type of halogen bulb that are commonly used in track lighting, landscape lighting, and other small spotlights.
Fiber optic MR11 halogen bulbs are most often used in ornamental lighting for all kinds of holiday lighting. In addition to these applications, you'll find our MR11 lamps ideal for any kind of display or for use in a home lighting situation. These bulbs are smaller than MR16 lamps and have a 1.4 inch reflector opening. They also have a G4 base which is 2 pins set at 4mm apart. And even though these are specific for certain types of fiber-optic lighting, they operate the same way as a regular MR11 does. The only big difference is that the watts are kept very low as well is the voltage. And in this particular version you can get them in either six or 12 volts depending on the system you have. Rated for 2000 hours average rated life the should give you a long service life and should last longer than other MR11 bulbs that have a higher wattage. The mirror finish inside the reflector is made from a dichroic coating which pushes the maximum light out the front and allows for some heat to go out the back. It's a very intense light that will meet most needs for certain types of specific light fixtures. Call us if you have any questions about what voltage or watts you may have and how to identify it properly.
