Circline Fluorescent Light Bulbs
Circline fluorescent light bulbs are the round bulbs that are used in many types of fixtures. Many round fixtures use these in kitchens, multi-housing or anywhere it's important to get a lot of light in the space without larger light fixtures. The lamp you need is determined by the diameter of the bulb itself. Many newer fixtures use the more popular PL type lamps, but many still use the circline fluorescent light bulbs that you see here. There are several different wattage ratings, and those will match up with the ballast that you have. They are not interchangeable from one wattage to another, so you need to know exactly which one you were replacing or look on the ballast label to see what lamp it operates. These almost always run on magnetic ballasts, but there are cases where they operate on an electronic ballast. Because of it's round circular shape, it throws light in every direction, and that is desirable when you need to get a lot of light spread or two light up the room. The connection point has four pins, and the socket will match up to those four pins. These do come in two different styles such as the T9, and then there is also the T5 version which we have as another product. If you need help determining which one you have, give us a call, and we can help. Product features: - Choice of wattage and diameters. - Four pin connection. - Round shape. - Magnetic ballast.
