CFL Light Ballast
A compact fluorescent ballast is an electronic device that regulates the electrical current in a compact fluorescent light bulb. It controls the amount of power that flows through the bulb and helps to start and maintain the arc within the bulb that produces light. Without a ballast, a compact fluorescent bulb would not work properly.
