LED Linestra Type Replacement 16 Watt for LN150 Lamps - Dimmable
Linestra light bulbs are a type of linear light bulb that is commonly used in decorative and accent lighting.
LED Linestra type lamps with a 16 watt rating replace 150 watt Linestra type or Philinea. It comes with a double prong base for a standard connection and it's the longest version. When installing this lamp, always apply equal pressure to each side of the lamp and prongs, as this will make an even positive electrical connection. Along with the quality of light, these are also rated at 30,000 hours meaning you'll save over $600 in lamp replacements costs not to mention a reduction in energy consumption. This is a dimmable LED light and gives the ultimate flexibility of bright light or a dimmed, more subtle light. This is the longest LED Linestra type energy efficient light bulb and this particular one is dimmable. Keep in mind that you can't use the old incandescent dimmers with these, you need to get a new LED dimmer that is compatible with it. That's the only thing to be aware of if you're making a change. Other than that to replace the bulb you have now, simply take it out and plug this one in, all the electronics for the LED are within the tube itself. It will work with all existing Linestra type light fixtures, but if you have dimming you will have to do something else with the dimmer. Many people think that these are brighter than the old incandescent and that may be true so if you have a situation where you are replacing one and not another you may want to rethink that. It's probably better to replace them all at once and be done with it. It will look correct and all the light sources will be equal. But with this type of light you get everything, energy savings, replacement bulb savings and a dimming capability so you can get the right amount of light that you need for your situation. That could be anything from a bathroom mirror, which is a typical application or it could be some linear lighting that you have in a cove. Now that the incandescent version is gone for good, you can get the LED version which is a perfect replacement and not have to worry about it ever again.
