These are often used for building automation, and you can do daylight harvesting for more energy savings if you want to do that. Another nice aspect of these drop ceiling lighting fixtures is that they have no bulbs, you will never have to change a bulb in these. So they have zero maintenance other than general cleaning over time that any fixture would need. You also get a choice of light color either 4000K or 5000K depending on which you prefer. 4000K is like office lighting white, and 5000K is like noontime daylight. In either case, you're going to get excellent lighting is just a matter of taste. These have a very high lumen rating per watt, and it only consumes 40 watts replacing higher wattage fluorescent.
