F96 T8 retrofit lighting kit without ballast is a set of components that allow you to convert 2 lamp 8 foot fixtures to a 4 lamp T8 configuration. This version is the hardware only WITHOUT the ballast, you get everything else for the retrofit. Many users like to supply their own ballast, so we make the essential hardware available to them in this kit. It saves 30 watts simply by converting 8 foot T12 slimline lamps to T8's. Imagine having only one type of fluorescent lamp in use whether it be in an office or warehouse, it's so much easier to maintain as well.
