Bulbrite LED LI4T8 Linestra type bulbs with a 4-watt rating replace 35-watt Linestra type or Philinea. It comes with a double prong base for a standard connection, and it's the longest version. When installing this lamp, always apply equal pressure to each side of the lamp and prongs, as this will make an even positive electrical connection. Along with the quality of light, these are also rated at 50,000 hours with a reduction of 90% in energy costs. Bulbrite is a high-quality manufacturer that began making these some time ago. We have an excellent track record with this bulb, and it's an excellent way to retrofit existing when Linestra type lighting fixtures with just a simple change of the bulb. All of the electronics for the LED are contained within the bulb itself, and the two prongs fit the same way the old incandescent version did. You'll also find that the LED version looks like the incandescent version so much that if you didn't tell someone that it was LED they wouldn't know the difference. This particular one is non-dimmable, and you have to use it with a simple on-off wall switch or contact. If you need a dimmable version of these, we have those as well. They are more expensive, but they do accomplish the dimming task using any number of electronic dimmers.
