Low power electronic ballasts for T8 lamps are what make it possible to start the lamp and maintain lighting. These come in voltages of 120 & 277 volt. These operate T8 lamps whether they be F17T8, F25T8, F32T8, F40T8 linear, FBO31T8, FBO24T8 and FBO16T8 u-shape types. These are the Sylvania Quicktronic brand. The light output is 25% lower but has an input watt rating of only 98 watts on a 4 lamp ballast.
