Quartz Halogen E11 Base Light Bulbs

Quartz halogen E11 light bulbs have a base that is also known as a minican or minicandelabra type. They give off such a large amount of light in such a compact package. The threads are slightly smaller than an E12 chandelier bulb, so if the base is slightly loose in that type of fixture, you know you have an E11. They give off an intense light which is usually best shielded by a good fixture that breaks up the light. Be careful not to touch the glass when installing them, as the glass reacts with skin oils on your hands and will shorten quartz halogen E11 lamp life.
