PAR38 side prong incandescent lamps are used in mostly retail stores that have a special track lighting situation. The lamp is plugged-in by a side prong base which it has. So many times you might see the light bulb listed as a 65PAR38/3FL or 3SP, one standing for flood and another for a spot beam.
