Mercury Vapor R40 Light Bulbs

Mercury vapor R40 light bulbs are an older technology of HID lighting but is still used in many places today. This mercury vapor operates on a specific ballast. It gives off a very white light because of the deluxe white coating and the light itself. These are much more efficient than standard incandescent lamps but it does give you a white or light and is great for areas like outdoors where a white or light will work better. You will need to have the proper ballast to operate mercury vapor R40 light bulbs.
