GE Mod-U-Line FB40T12 Fluorescent Light Bulbs

GE Mod-U-Line FB40T12 fluorescent bulbs are the u-bent lamps that have been used for many, many years in a variety of applications including 2 x 2 fixtures and places where a tight area needs to be lit. The wattage is now typically 34 or 35 watts as an energy saver depending on the brand. There is a 6 inch spacing on center between the legs of this lamp and it fits into the same sockets that a normal T12 lamp fits into. There are a couple of color choices including cool white and warm light and even daylight. These are not interchangeable with T8 u-bend lamps. The T8 operate on an electronic ballast and the FB40T12 fluorescent light bulbs typically run off of a magnetic ballast.
