F17T8 full spectrum fluorescent light bulbs are the 2 foot verion of these lamps and they have a white color like noontime daylight. A lot of people call these a full spectrum light and love to work and live under this illumination. The color rendition is very high and this makes them a perfect choice for task and office lighting. This has a 84 CRI or color rendering index which is high for a fluorescent lamp. Most people prefer these in an office or computer screen situation, making people more productive. The F17T8 full spectrum fluorescent is a 2 foot lamp and uses the same bipin sockets as regular F20T12 lamps. They have an electronic ballast that is specific to this type.
