Philips F96T8 high output fluorescent light bulbs are used in HO eight foot fixtures used in warehouses and in areas with high ceiling. These are the energy saving standard for strip lighting and these F96T8 fluorescent light bulbs that have been used in all kinds of industrial lighting for the past decade. These operate on an electronic ballast and are the natural replacement for old style T12 lamps. The F96T8 is a 8 foot lamp and uses a recessed double contact end used with spring loaded sockets. The ballast is specific to this type of fluorescent high output.
