PAR38 Side Prong Incandescent

PAR38 side prong incandescent lamps are used in mostly retail stores that have a special track lighting situation. The lamp is plugged-in by a side prong base which it has. So many times you might see the light bulb listed as a 65PAR38/3FL or 3SP, one standing for flood and another for a spot beam. Many people who have these wish they had not have been specified in their installation as they are more expensive but offer no real advantages over standard PAR38 lamps.
