Metal Halide Ultra Low Bay

The Ultra Low Bay reflector measures 28.6 inches in diameter and is totally enclosed and gasketed, both at the point the reflector is attached to the ballast housing and to the refractor where a Dacron® breather gasket is installed. This feature reduces dirt contamination, extending lamp life and performance. An improved, high-reflectance, ultra-durable white powder paint provides a durable finish, while improving heat dissipation and distribution. A high reflector efficiency of nearly 84 percent provides a spacing criterion of up to 2.0.

The acrylic refractor is molded with a prismatic design to soften and disperse light from the reflector. This optical system is designed to maximize efficiency and distribution while controlling glare. This lens is held in place by an aluminum support ring, which clips to the reflector. One clip is secured to the reflector to support the lens for ease when relamping.
