F96T12 high output cold temperature fluorescent light bulbs are used in standard eight foot fixtures used in outdoor lighting, freezers or coolers. These are the 110 watt version of F96T12 high output cold temperature fluorescent light bulbs that have been used in all kinds of industrial lighting for many decades. Even though they are being changed out for more efficient types, they are still very popular. The F96T12 is a 8 foot lamp and uses a recessed double contact end used with spring loaded sockets. They have a ballast that is specific to this type.
