Bipin halogen JC G4 base 24 volt halogen light bulbs are some of the smallest bipin versions made today. They go in fixtures that have a very small area and sometimes these might seem very tight. The pin spacing is 4 mm and that's what the G4 base stands for. It's important that you don't touch the glass when installing them as skin oil can react with the glass causing shorter lamp life. Most of these come with a plastic outer container which you can use to install the bulb, just make sure that the lamp is off before you do that.
