Philips PL-T compact fluorescent light bulbs for many types of commercial lighting and high output applications. There is only one manufacturer of Philips PL-T compact fluorescent light bulbs in the shape that you see here and that of course is Philips. It has curved loops which create the light output and four pins at the base. There are other manufacturers of these higher wattage compact fluorescents, but those have a different shape and in some cases they don't work in the same place that the Philips brand does. These operate on an electronic ballast and have good end-of-life protection so they won't overheat. You'll often see these used in downlights or recessed lighting, often used in pairs. Because of their great energy efficiency, they're often specified in many new buildings and they have the capability of being dimmable. The dimmable capability really comes into play when you have the correct dimming ballast. This combination lends itself well to applications where you need to get a very low light output to a very high light output and getting all the energy savings that you need. Commercial buildings have been using these for years as the wattage has grown to replace higher wattage floodlights. Philips PL-T compact fluorescent light bulbs represents the latest technology in energy-efficient lighting. The colors are excellent as well, with warm colors such as a 3500K color 410or a cooler color such as 4100K, which is much like office lighting. You'll find that these work well with other types of lighting that's known for energy efficiency such as T8 lamps. All together these make a very good set up for keeping a building or a home very energy-efficient while getting the light output that you desire. Even higher wattages of these are coming out, but right now 32 watt and 42 watt are as high as these go.
Philips have been developing many new kinds of fluorescent lighting and are a leader in this area of lighting. Some of the first compact fluorescent to come out were made by this company and they continue to be a trusted manufacturer of this kind of lamp. If you need help with any of the wattages of colors of the Philips PL-T compact fluorescent light bulbs, then you can call us and get the answers you need.
