PAR56 flood light bulbs for stage and studio lighting applications.

When it comes to lighting up a stage or a play being performed, these PAR56 flood light bulbs have been a workhorse for the last several decades. It's because they are reliable and come in a 120 or 130 volt version for longest possible life. It's probably the most pervasive halogen light that's ever been made when it comes to stage lighting. They emit a very white light and have a powerful beam of light in both the flood version and the very narrow spot as well. These lamps are large, 7 inch diameter at the reflector, and they produce a lot of light and have great beam control which is commonly needed for exacting stage lighting standards.

The lighting applications for the PAR56 flood light bulbs are only limited by the fixture you have. The fixture must be made for this lamp in order to use it. Most of the time we find people using them in large track lighting fixtures or stems without any metal can around them, but we've also seen them used in outdoor lighting in facade lighting. The wattages that are available are 300 and 500 watts in Sylvania, GE or Philips. Make sure that whatever fixture you're going to use them in is rated to take the correct wattage and match it to the wattage there on these bulbs.

With a mogul end prong base, PAR56 flood light bulbs are a perfect solution to get an intense light for a stage production or some very high placed lighting. It's common for these types of applications and you'll find some of the beam spreads to be wide flood, medium flood, and very narrow spot. Call us if you have any questions about these lamps.  We stock them in sufficient quantities to meet almost any need that you may have including the 12 volt version.
