With the advent of superior halogen lighting technology, MR11 halogen light bulbs have been one of the most reliable, small halogen lamps on the market today. MR11 lamps come in a variety of voltages but the most common is 12 volt used in track lighting in homes and in retail stores. All of them come with a dichroic coating which allows for better light output and heat that goes out the back of the lamp.
