H36-GW1000/DX mercury vapor light bulbs are a light source that has an arc tube operating on a ballast specific for this lamp. It's an older style of light and metal halide has replaced it as the preferred source of white light for warehouses, gymnasiums or any place a lot of light is desired. If you're just replacing these, we keep this 1000 watt version in stock with the deluxe white coating. The mogul base is larger than a household light bulb base and this is available for replacement only. H36-GW1000/DX mercury vapor light bulbs are one of the largest types available but are not put into new light fixtures anymore.
