60 watt Linestra light bulbs are a 19 11/16 inches long light with a double prong base for a connection. It has two side prongs which go into a special socket that makes a firm connection. The light they produce is very flattering to skin tones. They are rated for only 1500 hours average rated life, so when you're not using them, it's best to keep them shut off for a longer usable life. The filament inside is very long which can make them vulnerable to vibration. If that's a problem, you may want to consider our LED 6 watt version
which has no filament and would not be susceptible to that issue. When installing these lamps, it's important to make sure that you apply even pressure when pushing them into the sockets on either end. If you don't, you might cause some stress crac in the glass and then the light bulb won't work. With 60 watts of power, this can illuminate a space very well, especially bathroom mirrors where they're often put on either side. The soft glow really enhances skin appearance without loo false or overdone, it truly makes a natural kind of indoor light. For those of you trying to replace older types of incandescents, such as lumiline light bulbs, these would be a good choice. The color is basically the same as what you've been used to, but keep in mind, it does require a light fixture
that will accept this type of bulb.
