MR16 45 watt GU7.9 halogen light bulbs are used widely in many different types of lighting applications where 120 volt is the rating. The 45 watt rating makes them unique among MR16 lamps, but is sometimes required specifically from the light fixture manyfacturer. You'll find them used most often in retail lighting where a whiter, intense light is desired to bring out certain highlights. These MR16 lamps have a 2 inch diameter at the opening of the reflector and a dichroic coating. The pin spacing is 7.9mm compared the 12 volt version which is 5.3mm.
