175 Watt Mercury Vapor Light Bulbs

175 watt mercury vapor light bulbs are a light source that has an arc tube operating on a ballast specific for this lamp. It's an older style of light and metal halide has replaced it as the preferred source of white light for warehouses, gymnasiums or any place a lot of light is desired. If you're just replacing these, we keep this 175 watt version in stock with the deluxe white coating. The mogul base is larger than a household light bulb base. These lamps can no longer be purchased in new fixtures by law, but you will be able to get them for a long time to come for existing light fixtures. 175 mercury vapor light bulbs are one of the most common wattages available.
