Low Voltage Light Bulbs
12 Volt Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs
12 Volt Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs
12 volt compact fluorescent light bulbs are the way to get energy efficient lighting in a low voltage version. These are ideal for RV's, boats and many other types of applications that either run on this power source or possibly even on batteries. It provide the right solution where energy efficiency is a high priority, especially when the voltage source may have limitations at the transformer or the battery pack. It's the same twist bulb that you're used to for standard lighting in your home, now get it for all those other places that require a 12 volt circuit. 12 volt compact fluorescent light bulbs create a pleasing fluorescent color of 2800K that mimics warm incandescent lighting that most people like in a home or living space. You want to make sure that the circuit you're powering this with is a low-voltage 12 volt feed. If you try to put this into a 120 volt socket, it will flash and burnout in the second. With the 15 want version you could replace up to a 60 W incandescent light bulb and the 100 watt would be replaced by the 25 watt CFL. You can also use this outdoors where you might have a low voltage lighting system that has post top lights. You can save energy and leave the lights on all night for security while only drawing a small amount of power. The base is the same as a regular light bulb base, also known as an E26. So once again it's important to know that the voltage you have that runs the light fixtures that you're looking at putting these into. You will get a 10,000 hour lamp life and for most people that's going to last for many years to come. Call us if you have any questions about this light and whether it's a good thing to use in your situation.
